The Galaxy S21 FE is already popping up in stores, well, kind of
In the image, which you can see below this paragraph, you’ll notice the ‘S21 FE 5G’ branding imprinted in one of Samsung’s stores. The source did not say where was this taken, but there you go.
This is yet another proof that the device is coming, and that it’s coming soon. We’ve seen all kinds of crazy rumors over the last couple of months, including one that said the device is canceled. Well, that couldn’t be further from the truth, it seems. The Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 series, and Buds 2 earlier this month. Samsung decided to postpone the launch due to a chip shortage, allegedly. A separate rumor claimed that the phone will launch in October, but it may arrive sooner than that. The Galaxy S21 FE may launch as soon as September 8, if the latest launch date rumor is to be believed.
We’re still waiting for Samsung’s confirmation
That does make sense, as Max Weinbach’s image seems to suggest Samsung is already gearing up for the launch of the device. We’re still waiting for an official confirmation from Samsung, though. The Galaxy S21 FE will have a lot to offer, as its predecessor did. We just hope that Samsung will get the price right this time around, as it did last year. The Galaxy S21 FE is supposed to be a flagship-tier device, with a non-flagship price tag. The phone may feature a plastic backplate, just like its predecessor. It will include a flat display, and three cameras on the back. An in-display fingerprint scanner will also be included in the package. Samsung will utilize a frame made out of metal here, hopefully, while the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. You can also expect to get 8GB of RAM here, and Android 11 with Samsung’s One UI skin. For more information, check out our Galaxy S21 FE preview.
