Galaxy Note 10 Lite customers in France are currently seeing the update with the firmware version jumping to N770FXXU8FUL7. More regions should follow suit in the coming days. The update comes bundled with the January 2022 security update (via). Meanwhile, the Android 12 + One UI 4 update for the Galaxy A72 changes the firmware version to A725FXXU4BULA. Customers in Russia are currently seeing this update, but a broader rollout is on the horizon. However, this update carries the December 2021 security patch (via). If you haven’t seen the update notification on your Galaxy Note 10 Lite or the Galaxy A72 yet, head over to Settings – Software update to pull it manually. Both devices will witness multiple changes after the One UI 4 update. Galaxy Note 10 Lite customers can experience improved lock screen and home screen widgets along with a handful of upgrades to the always-on display.
The company’s Android 12 update is now available on multiple Samsung flagships
Samsung closed out 2021 by rolling out the One UI 4 update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. Although the initial rollout was far from perfect, the company eventually managed to sort things out. So far, the One UI 4 update has hit almost every Samsung flagship from 2019 and beyond. The Galaxy Tab S7 also received the coveted update not too long ago. News of Samsung’s rapid Android 12 rollout schedule is somewhat taking a back seat since the announcement of the Galaxy S21 FE this week. The Galaxy S21 offshoot was perhaps the worst kept secret in recent memory, with several leaks giving us a pretty decent idea of what to expect months in advance. We can now say that the Galaxy S21 FE packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and the company’s One UI 4 (Android 12) out of the box. The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 6 or 8GB of RAM options. There are a total of two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB. Unsurprisingly, there’s no microSD card slot here, so storage expansion isn’t an option. Be sure to check out our first impressions of the Galaxy S21.
