Design-wise, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro don’t look too different from the first-gen Galaxy Buds Pro. But the new model seems to feature additional sensors on the upper part of the body. The rest of the design language, including the positioning of sensors, remains unchanged. Samsung reportedly plans to offer its upcoming TWS earbuds, which are codenamed Zenith, in at least three color options — White, Graphite, and Bora Purple. Some of these colorways may also be available for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Perhaps all of those, since the new clamshell foldable is coming in Bespoke Edition with tons of color combinations to choose from. Apart from design and colorways, the latest leak doesn’t tell us much about the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. There are rumors that Samsung will offer bigger batteries in the new pair. The first-gen model packed a 61mAh battery each, with the charging case housing a 472mAh power unit. The company rated the Galaxy Buds Pro to run for up to eight hours on a single charge. With the case, you can get up to 28 hours of playtime. These numbers are for using the buds without ANC (active noise cancellation), a feature that should be found on the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro too. Hopefully, higher battery capacity on the new model would mean longer endurance as well. With quick charging, just about ten minutes in the case should be enough to run the buds for a couple of hours.

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro may arrive alongside a bunch of other Galaxies next month

Samsung is gearing up for a big launch event next month. Rumors suggest its first offline Galaxy Unpacked in two years would take place on August 10. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 would be the stars of the show. The Galaxy Watch 5 series should also get enough attention. Alongside all these highly anticipated products may come the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. There have been rumors of the new earbuds breaking cover either ahead or after the event. But that seems less likely. Samsung will probably unveil its next-gen TWS offerings at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked. Stay tuned for more information.
