If you recall, these are the same colorways that the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 are also said to come in. It appears Samsung is keeping things consistent across its 2022 Galaxy A lineup, at least as far as color options are concerned. There’s still a possibility that the company will add more color variants later on though.
The Galaxy A13 is starting to take shape
As said earlier, the Galaxy A13 is starting to take shape with each passing day. We have been hearing about the phone since August. It appeared in a Geekbench listing early last month, revealing a few key details. A major leak in the following week then bared it all. We got to see the Galaxy A13 5G from all sides. Its key specs were also revealed. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. It sports a 6.48-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels). There’s a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Reports suggest the 4G-only Galaxy A13 will include a 2-megapixel macro camera at the back. The front-facing camera is reportedly an 8-megapixel sensor on both models. There may also be a few other differences between the 4G and 5G models of the Galaxy A13. There’s a possibility that the two models will use two different chipsets but we don’t have a confirmation on that yet. The rest of the rumored specs include a 5000 mAh battery with an impressive 25W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Earlier reports suggested the Galaxy A13 will run Android 11 out of the box. But considering its expected launch timeframe, we hope it will run Android 12-based One UI 4.0 from day one. Samsung announced the Galaxy A12 in November last year, so it’s about time the company unveils its successor. While we don’t yet have information regarding the Galaxy A13 launch, it may not break cover until next year, or at least not arrive in the market before 2022. We will keep you posted.
