We finally get to see the front side of the Nothing Phone (1), along with its uniform bezels
If you take a look at the images below the article (one is just a zoomed-in version of the other), you’ll see what seems to be the Nothing Phone (1) render. This design is not all that surprising, though, as it’s what we expected. Truth be said, the bezels do seem even thinner than most people hoped for. It’s possible they will be slightly thinner in real-life, we’ll see. Nothing did confirm that the phone won’t have a ‘chin’, which immediately got us to come to a conclusion its bezels will be uniform. This is not something we see on many devices, the bottom bezel is usually a bit thicker. I’m not even counting in iPhones, as they have that huge notch up top, which essentially makes the top bezel kind of huge. In any case, you’ll also notice that the phone has a centered display camera hole. That is also something we expected to happen. That seems to be the trend these days, and even though it would be nice to see an under-display camera, that won’t happen.
The device did appear in real-life images & video already
The Nothing Phone (1) back side got shown in both renders and real-life images. The device appeared in Basel, in some sort of a low-key event, where YouTubers got the chance to film it. Its see-through back does seem quite appealing, and Nothing also included some LED notification lights on the back. All in all, the phone does look quite different, and it got people talking. The Nothing Phone (1) will become official on July 12, and if you’d like to know more about it, click here.
