This is something that Google has been working on for a while. Some people want to be able to view their health stats on their smart display. It’s an easy way to get some at-a-glance insight into their numbers. Their phones aren’t always by their side, and that goes for their watches.
Fitbit and Google Fit will show stats on Nest Hub displays
So far, this only seems to be available for the 2nd-gen Google Nest Hubs. However, according to 9to5Google, we can expect this feature to land on Nest Hub Max and other smart displays eventually. The stats will show up in your Wellness tab, and they will also show up in your Morning, Afternoon, and Evening tabs. When you open up these tabs, you’ll most likely be presented with three cards. These will have your steps, calories, and workout days. The information could change based on conditions like time of day. If you want to get more in-depth information, you can tap on any of the cards. Doing so will open up a weekly chart showing your progress. So, it’s a great way to get some quick insight into your current numbers. Right now, this might only be available for the Nest Hub devices in the preview program. Also, it will need to run the firmware version 1.56.299498. So, if you’re not, then you might have to wait until this feature reaches the public. We’re not sure when or if that’s going to happen, so you’ll need to keep an eye on that.
