The download includes all of the Pixel sounds throughout the years
This download was made available by Android Police, and it has everything; these are all of the sounds used on Pixel sounds that were used over the years. There are about 310 Pixel sounds including ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds to download. It’s pretty straightforward to download and use the files. First, go to the download site, and from there, you’ll be prompted to download the 46MB file. It’ll download as a .ZIP file, so if you’re using your phone, you may need to install a program to unzip (or decompress) the file. From that point, you’ll have access to all of the sound files to use. The sounds are in the .OGG format, so you won’t be able to use them in many places other than your phone.
But what if you want to use the app?
The Pixel Sounds app has all of these sounds, so what’s the point of downloading the sounds? Well, Google made the app exclusive to Pixel devices (you can get it on a few Galaxy phones too, but not a lot). However, if you want to try your luck and see if the app could work on your device, then there’s a way you can try. Along with the .ZIP file download, there’s also an APK to download. Now, if you’re unfamiliar with using APK files, it’s not like downloading apps from the Play Store. Firstly, when you download the file, chances are that your system won’t allow it intrinsically. You’ll have to go and enable “installing from unknown sources” in the settings. After that point, there’s no guarantee that it will work on your phone. There’s only a small chance that it could work on non-Pixel and Galaxy devices. Chances are that you won’t be able to install it if you’re not running the right hardware. It might be best just to download the Pixel sounds via the .ZIP.
