The Doogee S98 Pro coming soon with “Alien-inspired design”
Doogee did share some images of this smartphone. You can check out the gallery below to see those. Some of you may say this thing looks like a rugged phone, well, that’s because it will be. Its bezels won’t be too thick despite the fact it’s a rugged smartphone, while the phone’s back side will surely look interesting. That back side is supposed to “illustrate the figure of the out-earthers”. Namely the shape of the camera bump and the thin slender lines. Now, Doogee did also share some spec info when it comes to this phone. The Doogee S98 Pro will feature a 48-megapixel main camera, and a 20-megapixel night vision camera. In addition to that, a thermal imaging sensor will be placed on the back. Doogee says that the night vision camera will “detect anything that reflects infrared light”, while the thermal imaging one will “detect anything that emits heat”.
The device will use the InfiRay thermal sensor
The company will include the InfiRay thermal sensor inside of this phone. It will offer the highest thermal resolution of 256×192. That will be combined with a 25Hz high frame rate. Doogee says that this camera will be able to detect draught dampness, leaks, electric short, blockages, and elevated temperatures. The company also talked about something called the ‘Dual Spectrum Fusion Algorithm’. This is the technology used for the thermal sensor. It allows images from the thermal sensor and primary sensor to be placed over each other. This handset is expected to become official towards the end of May, and it will likely become available to purchase in early June. While we wait for more information, check out its images below.
