The rugged Galaxy XCover Pro 2 is coming, and its design just surfaced
The images have been included in the gallery below the article. @OnLeaks is usually spot on when it comes to such leaks, so chances are this design is accurate. The Galaxy XCover Pro 2 won’t exactly have the thinnest bezels, as expected. This is, after all, a rugged smartphone. Its bottom bezel will be thicker than the rest of them, and there will be a waterdrop display notch included at the top. All of its physical buttons will sit on the right-hand side, and its power / lock button will double as a fingerprint scanner. Two cameras will be included on the back, and they will be vertically-aligned. Samsung’s logo will sit on the back as well, as is the case for the company’s smartphones. A 3.5mm headphone jack will also be a part of the package.
The device will include a 6.56-inch display, and be quite large overall
The source claims this smartphone will feature a 6.56-inch display, and it’s expected to offer a removable battery, just like its predecessor. The Exynos 1280 SoC is rumored for this smartphone, while Android 12 will come pre-installed, along with Samsung’s One UI skin. Its dimensions are also tipped. The Galaxy XCover Pro 2 is expected to measure 169.5 x 81.1 x 10.1mm. So, it definitely won’t be a small phone, by any stretch of the imagination. It will be extremely tall and wide, and on top of that quite thick. The Galaxy Xcover Pro launched back in January 2020. So, it has been well over two years since it arrived at this point. Samsung opted not to release its successor last year, but the model we talked about here is coming soon, it seems. We’re not entirely sure when is Samsung planning to launch this phone, but it will likely arrive in the next couple of months.
