ConfiBlur app allows you to hide confidential information
What is ConfiBlur? It’s essentially an app that can help you hide confidential information. If there’s some text you’d like to hide before sharing an image, this is the app for you. How does it work? Well, you can simply take a screenshot of what you’d like to hide, unless you already have an image. Then tap share, and choose ConfiBlur. The app will load the image you shared, and make the blurring part really simple. The app will recognize text on the image, so you don’t have to be entirely precise when blurring. All you have to do is cross the words you’d like to blur with your finger, and you’re good to go. ConfiBlur will blur the text you select, though you can also choose the solid mode, which will blackout the text instead. This is a far more practical solution than manually blurring text in an image editing app.
The app could use some more features, though
The app is kind of barebones at this point. It would be nice to have a zoom in feature, or an undo button. Unfortunately, those are not yet available, but they hopefully will be at some point in the future. We’ve also noticed that some people are having issues with the app, possibly due to bugs or something of the sort. That’s the reason the app is currently (at the time of writing this article), holding a 3.3-star rating in the Google Play Store. Still, the app worked really well for us, so it may do the same for you too. If you’d like to download it, we’ve included a link below, the app is free to use, and there are no ads. Also, if you’d like to check out some official images, those are included below as well. ConfiBlur (Google Play Store)
