The game has gone through a large number of different seasons at this point, and it has content refreshed on a fairly consistent basis. So there’s always something new to chase, new maps to play, and new guns to try out. Based on the hit franchise from Activision, Call Of Duty: Mobile is a first-person shooter for Android and iOS, featuring many callbacks to titles from the past and present on other platforms. This means maps from previous games, familiar soldiers from previous games, and even weapons that you’ve seen in some of those titles. Of course, completely new content gets added from time to time too that is unique to Call Of Duty: Mobile. Making it all the more exciting when you hop in for a few matches on the go. Whether you’re new to the game or you’ve been playing since release, here’s everything you will ever need to know about Call Of Duty: Mobile. If you want to jump right to the information about the new seasonal content, it’ll be listed at the bottom of this post.
What is Call Of Duty: Mobile?
Call Of Duty: Mobile is the mobile adaption of the popular PC and console franchise. It incorporates a lot of content from the games on those platforms, but also includes some unique stuff as well. This is a first-person shooter game entirely focused on multiplayer content. Spanning various modes and match types. Though the game is for mobile devices, it plays very much like the games on PC and consoles.
Is Call Of Duty: Mobile free-to-play?
Yes. Call Of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play game. So you can download and install it and play it without spending a dime. This also means that the game has to be monetized somehow. And that method is through micro transactions. These are purely optional, though. Having said that, you do usually want to spend some money on CoD Points to unlock the paid tier of the battle pass. That is if you don’t already have enough CoD Points racked up from the free gameplay.
Do you need to buy CoD Points?
You’re not required to spend any money on CoD Points if you don’t want to. It’s entirely possible to play through the game and earn unlocks from the free tier of the battle pass. And certain levels, once reached, will reward you with CoD Points. So if you save these up throughout the season, you should end up with enough to buy the next season. CoD Points can also be earned in other various ways from time to time. The recommendation here is to save these for the seasonal battle passes each season if you can. As that will allow you to unlock better rewards from the pass as you level it up.
What all can CoD Points get you?
You can spend CoD Points on a number of different things. Beyond the battle pass, CoD Points are the required currency for the rotating list of bundles, crates, and lucky draws that cycle out each month and throughout the season. You can also use them to buy xp boosts. Keep in mind that these are a limited resource. So if you spend them on lucky draws or bundled items, then you take away from the stockpile you’d have for the battle pass. If you need more CoD Points, you can buy them from the shop for varied amounts of real money. Going up to $99.99.
Does Call Of Duty: Mobile have events?
There are more events going on for this game then you will be able to keep track of (not all at one time of course). And this is where you can acquire a lot of cool loot, simply by playing the game. Each event will have their own related rewards, too. Some events will require you to complete specific tasks while playing, while others may simply require you to log in each day to get the loot that’s associated with that event. The best practice here is to simply log in each day and spend less than a minute getting whatever login bonuses you can get. Since it doesn’t take much time to do. Even if you don’t have time to play any matches, you should always have time to pop in and get the login freebies. And over time that will rack up. Events also tend to match the theme of the season. In addition, events can reward you with special soldiers to use as your character. So don’t miss out on these as some of them will only last for a couple of weeks before they end. Logging in often is key to finding out what you might want to spend time chasing.
What maps does Call Of Duty: Mobile have?
There are maps for both core and featured match types. Some maps are also only available for a short period of time. Having said that, we’ll list all of the maps that are currently in the game below. What are the different modes in Call Of Duty: Mobile?

You can create clans, allowing you to squad up for matches across all modes. Including ranked if you’re feeling oh so bold. Clans can have up to 65 members in total, although it doesn’t start that high. A level 1 clan can have up to 20 members. And each level increase for the clan bumps it up to another 5 members that can be added. Once you reach level 10, you can have up to 65 members in that clan. Clans can also be set to private if you only want members to join through an invite. Your other option is to set the clan to open, and then people can join your clan freely. People can also request to join your clan without having an invite sent, and then you can approve the request or not approve the request.

Can you customize your guns?
In the beginning and for a long time after the launch, Call Of Duty: Mobile did not really have a good customization setup for weapons. But the game now features the Gunsmith. Where you can customize your guns more freely and change a whole lot of stuff. This gives you a better chance to set up your loadouts with guns that work with your playstyle. You can access the Gunsmith from the loadout screen. By tapping on any weapon in the primary and secondary weapon slots for that particular loadout. In the Gunsmith you can alter the muzzle, the barrel, the optics, the stock, the gun perks, the laser, the underbarrel, the ammunition, and the rear grip. This is also where you can select weapon blueprints, weapon camos, charms, stickers, and reticles. Camos, charms, stickers, and reticles can all be unlocked in a number of different ways. Including battle pass level ups, crate and bundle purchases, lucky draws, and more.
Can I link my Call of Duty account?
Yes, you can link your Call Of Duty account to this game. You can also link your Facebook account. It’s recommended to link whatever account you want to stick with. Because your progress cannot be transferred between account types. Furthermore, it’s also not possible to move your character and progression on one Facebook account to another Facebook account. So what you pick from the beginning is what you need to stick with. If you decide later that you want to switch Facebook accounts, or link a Call Of Duty account instead and use that over the Facebook account, you will lose your progress and have to start over.
Does Call Of Duty: Mobile support controllers?
The game does support controllers. You can find out how to connect them here. However, you can’t connect just any Bluetooth controller. Initially supported controllers are the Xbox Wireless controller, and the DualShock 4. Though support is not fully there for the original DualShock 4 that came with the gen 1 version of the PS4 console. You can also use the new version of the Xbox Wireless controller that comes with the Xbox Series X | S, and the DualSense controller that comes with the PS5 as official support was added for both of these. No other controllers are currently supported at this time, unfortunately. Which probably means you can’t use your third party versions of any of the above mentioned controllers, such as the recently released SCUF Instinct Pro for example.
Does Call Of Duty: Mobile have a leaderboard system?
There is a leaderboard system in the game. The leaderboard is also set up for multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Zombies modes. Ranked Matches have their own associated leaderboard.

Is there a chat system?
There is a chat system. With options to swap between world chat, clan chat, and friends chat. A word of caution though, that the world chat system can end up being extremely toxic. So if you need to chat, you’re better off using a voice chat option with a friend or clan member who is currently in your party.
