Yes, the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition is on the way
This information has been shared by Max Jambor, who is basically never wrong when it comes to OnePlus information. In addition to that, another tipster, Tech Agent, shared a fingerprint scanner animation (spinning) that will be exclusive to that phone.
More information is available over at the OxygenUpdater.com website. The phone will not only come with a new fingerprint scanner animation, but also a Pac-Man-style AOD (Always On Display), and a new wireless charging animation. These are only some of the added Pac-Man-themed goodies. We also believe that you’ll get some exclusive wallpapers as a part of the package. We’re also hoping that a Pac-Man game will be pre-installed, it would be a huge miss if it isn’t.
We still don’t know what will the device look like
The biggest question is, though, what will the phone look like? Well, that hasn’t been revealed just yet. What we do know is that the footprint and general design will be the same as that of the Nord 2. What will be different is the paint job. So, there are several ways OnePlus can do this. It can be subtle, and include a Pac-Man icon somewhere on the phone, while using a lively color in addition to that. On the flip side, it can go all out, and make the phone a colorful mess to suit the theme, which may be the way to go. If you’re doing a Pac-Man-themed phone, make it instantly recognizable, no? Either way, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out what it will look like. We also don’t know when will this phone launch, but it’ll likely happen soon. Those of you who are wondering about the specs, they’ll be the same as the ones on the regular Nord. We’re just not sure what RAM + storage combo will OnePlus use for this device.
