But there’s a little bit more interesting information on this screenshot. And that shows the Pixel 7 is going to actually launch on October 13. That’s the following Thursday after the Made by Google event, which is slated for next week. Now this is mostly information that we already knew about the Pixel 7 series, so there’s no real surprises here. But it is nice to see some more confirmation ahead of next week.
Pixel 7 gets announced October 6, available October 13
Google is set to hold its Pixel 7 event next week in Brooklyn. This is going to be their first in-person event since the Pixel 4 back in 2019. Which feels like it was a very long time ago. And well, it kind of was. Rumors have been pointing to quite a few hardware releases coming at this event. Like the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Watch (all three of which have been pre-announced by Google), as well as some new products from Nest. Rumors are point to a new Nest Doorbell, as well as a new Nest WiFi system that will support WiFi 6E. Of course, most of the leaks and rumors have been about the Pixel 7, since that’s what most people really care about. Yet most people don’t buy it. Which is always pretty odd.
