Looking for a Lord of the Rings game the whole family will enjoy? Lego Lord of the Rings is a family-friendly game that follows the same story as Peter Jackson’s film adaptations. Although adults might find the puzzles to be too easy and the combat system a bit too simplistic, kids will enjoy its fun humor and the quirkiness the Lego franchise is known for.
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Following the success of Peter Jackon’s first Lord of the Rings film, Electronic Arts decided to capitalize on this success and create a video game of the same name. Since the game was actually released 2 months before the movie did, the game acted as a great promotion for the second film. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers game is a classic hack-and-slash adventure game that loosely follows along with the storyline from Peter Jackson’s second film. Although the game received a lot of criticism for its short length, it went on to be one of the most successful Lord of the Rings games, mainly due to its amazing graphics which were quite technologically-advanced for their time.
